Shipment tracking relied on a legacy Visual Basic application that lacked the flexibility to support long-term growth.

The application now powers instant shipment tracking, automated financial integrations, real-time quoting, and a fully integrated client portal — all connected through API-driven workflows.

Today, the platform supports approximately 5,000 containers annually, generating thousands of real-time notifications per container each day between clients and external systems.

Manual invoice entry was reduced to zero, immediately freeing up two full-time roles and eliminating unnecessary human error. What began as a solo modernization effort evolved into a dedicated 6-person development team, supporting a highly specialized 15-person tech-enabled workforce.
