A new category, built on twenty years of metadata architecture

The AI coding tools dominating headlines - Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Lovable, v0 - were built for individual developers. They solve speed and worsen control. Legacy low-code platforms - OutSystems, Mendix, Microsoft Power Platform, Appian - were built for governance, but they lock code into proprietary runtimes and can't absorb the new pace of AI-driven creation. Custom code paired with AI assistants ships faster than before, but every application is still a snowflake with no shared governance layer.

Betty Blocks closes the gap with four capabilities the market has been missing:
