To support our superhuman ambition, we are looking for a Business Development Representative who wants to help support the vision of our Forrester-licensed no-code application development platform.

You don't care because you're persistent and amazing on every medium. icons8-money-box-filled-50 Base salary between $40,000 and $50,000 a year plus $20,000 to $35,000 variable compensation. $70,000 OTE.
icons8-brain-filled-50 You are great at navigating and executing complex sales calls and making technical matters understandable. icons8-macbook-filled-50 We provide health insurance coverage, a brand new macbook, 15 PTO days in addition to national holidays.

Meet Sascha Venner. Sacha is one of our BDRs at Betty Blocks she focusses on the British market. 

What are you going to do? 
You will be involved in generating and qualifying leads for Betty Blocks. You recognize opportunities in the market and actively respond to them. You proactively approach potential customers via email. afterwords you start the conversation by phone or via Skype. You do online platform demos and show the platform and detailed examples while further qualifying the lead. 

  • What makes you like working for Betty Blocks? 
    I enjoy the culture and style of work Betty Blocks provides. It is challenging and fun at the same time. There is also a lot of room for personal and professional development.
    What did you do before you came working for Betty Blocks? 
    I studied international business with a focus on marketing. Before Betty Blocks, I was the market development coordinator at a German technology company. It was time for a change of pace and I am glad about my career move. 
    What do you do in your spare time?
    In my spare time, I like to go to sporting events, be outside, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy trying new things!

    What did you do before you came working for Betty Blocks? 
    Before I worked at Betty Blocks I was one of their customers! I spent six months working to develop a custom application to handle scheduling, HERS ratings, and data collection for residential energy inspections. I had so much fun building and working with everyone at Betty Blocks, that I decided to join the team. It required a move across the country, but it was completely worth it.
    What do you do in your spare time? 
    Can we leave this out? I'm a workaholic!

  • What makes you like working for Betty Bocks as a BDR?
    As a BDR you are involved from start to finish in the process of connecting new customers. It's nice to see how your first email and/or phone call ultimately leads to a new customer. 
    What did you study before you came working for Betty Blocks? 
    Before I started as a BDR at Betty Blocks, I studied tourism and recreation. Apart from side jobs, this is my first job and indeed.... it has nothing to do with tourism :) 
    What do you do in your spare time? 
    I prefer to spend my free time with friends and family in the sun, on the terrace, at a festival or at a board game.
