Business Development Representative (DACH) - Alkmaar

Hi, we’re Betty Blocks! Do you like Big Hairy Audacious Goals? This is ours: By 2023, anyone can build an application. Quite a statement, right? So how we are doing with our BHAG? It’s going pretty well! So well actually, that we grew by 360% in 2018. And we’re just getting started! To support our superhuman ambition, we are looking for a Business Development Representative who wants to help support the vision of our Forrester-licensed no-code application development platform.

Once you are a senior inside sales associate, there are career opportunities towards the positions; Account Executive or Account Manager. By being part of a team within a fast-growing organization, you immediately gain practical experience and get a lot of responsibilities.

We are looking for doers with the ambition to grow! Do not let the name sales associate put you off immediately, because the role is more a consultant, in which you can convey your passion for the (IT)product to the customer and you do not do telephone acquisition at all! You get the chance to explore a new market with us while working in Alkmaar and getting support from experienced sales employees.

The job

  • Finding and qualifying new leads in the DACH area (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) for Betty Blocks through various types of media and our smart lead finding method (no cold calling);
  • Spot opportunities in the market and proactively try to work those out;
  • Explain our story by phone after e-mail contact;
  • Keeping smart leads finding organized and actively follow-up;
  • Supporting the account executives and Account Managers during appointments;
  • Giving demos on the Betty Blocks platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master degree;
  • Affinity with sales (proven experience e.g. relevant side jobs);
  • Knowledge of IT and software is a 'nice to have' not a must;
  • Starters and more experienced applicants are welcome;
  • Native German is a must.
